About Dr. Heller

Appointed by County Medical Administrator to meet refugees from New Orleans in an effort to evaluate, treat, and place adults and children who have been traumatized from Hurricane Katrina, September 2005. Addressed issues of trauma, dementia, suicide, and mental retardation. Received award from the Red Cross.

Member of Florida Bar Grievance Committee 15-D since 2001.

Member of Student Advisory Committee Del Prado School, Boca Raton, Florida – 2000-2009.

Member of Together Against Gangs – Consortium of community leaders to address the factors related to gang violence.

Consultant to Mental Health Alliance.
